Garlic Butter Lobster Tails with Seafood Boil Seasoning
Lobster tails are an easy way to make dinner feel special, and they pair naturally with the same buttery seasoning used for a Southern seafood boil. You can serve them alone or add shrimp, potatoes, corn, and sausage for a larger seafood spread.
Prepare the Lobster
Use kitchen shears to open the top of each shell so the meat is easier to season. Depending on your preferred cooking method, the meat can stay inside the shell or be gently lifted to sit on top.
Make the Butter
Melt butter and stir in Chef Bae® Seafood Boil Seasoning. Fresh garlic and lemon are optional, but both work well with the buttery seafood flavor.
Season Before and After Cooking
Brush the lobster meat with the seasoned butter before cooking. Once the tails are cooked and the meat is opaque, spoon on another small amount of warm butter just before serving.
Turn It Into a Full Meal
Serve lobster tails with rice, mashed potatoes, corn, asparagus, broccoli, pasta, or mac and cheese. For a seafood boil version, see our easy lobster seafood boil recipe.
Do Not Bury the Lobster in Seasoning
Lobster has a naturally delicate flavor, so start with a moderate amount of seasoned butter and add more at the table if needed. The goal is to complement the lobster rather than cover it up.
If you are combining lobster with shrimp, our shrimp and lobster seafood boil is another starting point.
