How to Make Garlic Butter Shrimp with Seafood Boil Seasoning

Garlic butter shrimp is one of the easiest ways to use seafood boil seasoning outside of a full seafood boil. It cooks quickly, works for weeknight dinners, and pairs with rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetables, or crusty bread.

What You Need

Start with peeled or shell-on shrimp, butter, and Chef Bae® Seafood Boil Seasoning. Fresh garlic, lemon, and parsley are optional additions if you want extra aroma and brightness.

Cook the Shrimp Quickly

Melt a portion of the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook just until they turn opaque and pink, turning as needed. Avoid crowding the pan so the shrimp cook evenly instead of steaming in their own liquid.

Build the Garlic Butter

Lower the heat and add more butter. Stir in Chef Bae® Seafood Boil Seasoning and fresh garlic if using. Toss the shrimp until every piece is coated. Finish with lemon juice or parsley if desired.

Ways to Serve Garlic Butter Shrimp

Spoon the shrimp over white rice, creamy grits, pasta, mashed potatoes, or a baked potato. You can also serve it with corn and vegetables for a seafood-boil-inspired plate without making an entire pot.

Make It a Fast Weeknight Dinner

Because shrimp cook quickly, you can prepare the side dishes first and cook the shrimp last. That keeps the shrimp tender and lets you serve the meal while the butter sauce is still warm.
